So wie es aussieht hat auch der DVD to iPod Converter Probleme unter Leopard zu laufen

Wie eine Supportanfrage beim Hersteller ergeben hat, ist das Problem bekannt und eine Lösung in Arbeit.

“I am sorry there are some bugs in working with Leopard. The latest version of our program can be run on it will be released in the near future. Thank you for your attention. ”

Schön wäre zu wissen was “in the near future” genau bedeutet

Soeben habe ich die Version 5.0.58.0201 installiert … und siehe da, die Probleme mit Leopard sind behoben.

Vidalia Problem nach OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Update

So wie es aussieht hat auch Vidalia bzw. Tor 0.1.2.18 Probleme unter Leopard.

Wer hat ähnliche Probleme oder kennt vielleicht sogar eine Lösung?

Das ewige Katz und Maus Spiel bleibt erhalten und die Geschwindigkeit mit der es abläuft ist manchmal beeindruckend.Am 26. Oktober 2007 um 18:00 Uhr startet der offizielle Verkauf des neuen Apple Betriebssystems. Gerade einmal einen Tag später, also am 27. Oktober 2007 postet DailyApps den Artikel Hack Attack : Install Leopard on your PC in 3 easy steps

“Well its been only a day since the Mac OSX Leopard was released officially by Apple and the hackers have managed to create a patched DVD that everyone like you and me can use to install Leopard on PC’s without having to buy a Mac. Please note the tutorial that I am going to post is still experimental and things might not work the right way simply because it is still early days in hacking Leopard to work on PC’s. Well if you don’t mind your PC getting screwed then go ahead and try out this tutorial.”

Interessant ist immer die anschliessende Diskussion warum Apple keine PC Version Ihres Betriebssystems herrausbringt. Die besten Antworten hierzu sind IMHO:

Apple verdient einen großen Teil Ihres Geldes mit dem Verkauf von Hardware. Diese Hardware ist meist teurer als vergleichbare Produkte. Anmerkung: Ob Sie “schicker” ist, ist eine subjektive Angelegenheit

Solange Apple Hardware und Software beeinflussen kann, solange kann dies einen positiven Effekt auf die Stabilität des Gesamtsystems haben.

KeePassX Problem nach OS X 10.5 (Leopard Update)

Nach dem Update auf Leopard crashed KeePassX Es gibt auch schon einen entsprechenden Post im Forum. Freue mich über zieldienliche Hinweise aller Art oder Empfehlungen für Alternativen wie z.B. 1PasswordUpdate 2007-10-28 18:40 So wie es aussieht funktioniert KeePassX zumindest wenn es über das Terminale mittels /Applications/KeePassX.app/Contents/MacOS/keepass aufgerufen wird. Die Darstellungs ist bescheiden … und da scheint auch das Problem mit Leopard zu liegen. Mal sehen wie es weitergeht …Update 2007-10-11 14:43Gerade habe ich einen Hotfix für KeePassX eingespielt und das Problem ist behoben. Der Fix war übrigens schon am 30. Oktober 2007 verfügbar. Wirklich Prima!
